Malwina Qvist is a lead advisor at NSI and is the director of Clean Air Task Force’s Nuclear Energy Program, where she focuses on advancing the deployment of critical nuclear technologies in both the U.S. and EU.

Throughout her career, Qvist has operated at the intersection of policy, technology, and market strategy. She has provided counsel to senior policymakers, government ministers, and leaders in the private sector on deploying low-carbon energy solutions, leveraging her analytical skills to support impactful decisions. During her tenure at the UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, she contributed to developing the evidence base for future energy policies aligned with the UK’s net-zero objectives.

At Cornwall Insight, Qvist led strategic advisory services for renewable energy developers, guiding them through the complexities of Great Britain’s energy markets and regulatory frameworks. Her ability to translate technical insights into actionable strategies has made her a trusted voice in shaping Europe’s clean energy future. Qvist holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering with academic training from Oregon State University, Warsaw University of Technology, and UC Berkeley.
