Mary Fulham
Lead Advisor
Mary Fulham is a lead advisor at NSI and communications director at the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI). She works with NTI’s nuclear-focused programs and provides strategic communications support on a wide range of projects, including serving as co-editor of Risky Business, NTI’s blog. Across her work, she is focused on developing creative new approaches to engage and educate key audiences on critical nuclear security and nonproliferation issues.
Fulham previously worked at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, where she was program and communications administrator of the Middle East Initiative. She also worked on a number of political campaigns at the local, state, and national level, including Sen. Ed Markey’s 2020 re-election campaign and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Fulham graduated from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, where she earned her BA in Middle East studies.
